NAMED SCHOLARS PROGRAM

A key focus of the Tennessee Independent Colleges and Universities Association is to partner with statewide corporations in providing scholarship and grant aid to deserving students attending Tennessee's private colleges and universities. The companies listed below contribute significantly to this cause through the Association's Named Scholars Program.

More information about these and other scholarship opportunities is available from the Financial Aid Office of any TICUA member institution.

	The Conwood Company Charitable Trust $10,000 scholarship program offers ten $1,000 scholarships to students attending independent colleges and universities in Middle and West Tennessee.
	General Shale Brick, Inc. provides five $1,000 scholarships for needy deserving students attending an independent college or university in upper east Tennessee.
	Home Federal Bank of Tennessee offers five $1,000 scholarships for students in the Knoxville area.
	Pilot Corporation funds five $1,000 scholarships for needy deserving students in the greater Knoxville area.
	The UPS Foundation funds a generous program of thirty-five scholarships at $2,850 per institution. These scholarships are directed to needy deserving students.
